Mark's Story
How
fitting it is that the title of Pastor Brad's first in a series of
sermons on
the topic of grace was "A Life Shaped by Grace". It certainly describes
Mark Staten's life! Mark passed away on January 6th shortly before the
second service. The video of that day's sermon includes Pastor Brad's
opening remarks and opening prayer in addition to
his sermon. I have left these in for their reference to Mark. You can

John Wesley's Covenant Prayer
I am no longer my own by yours. Put me to what you will, rank me with whom you will. Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed for you or laid aside for you. Let me be exalted for you or brought low for you. Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have nothing. I freely with all my heart give all things to your pleasure and disposal.
And now, glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, you are mine and I am yours. So be it. And the covenant which I have made on earth, let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.
